Do you live in the Oakville, Mississauga, Burlington or Milton area?  Do you have a fence that you share with neighbours that is looking a little worse for wear?  Is it in danger of falling down?  We’ve heard it so many times; wind, snow, heavy rain, age and landscaping all contribute to the need for your fence to be repaired.

Like many aspects of our business, fence repair is no different when people look to fix them, they often think that the entire fence needs to be replaced. This is rarely the case, unless you are actually looking to change the entire look of the fence, in which case, we can certainly help you with that. Fence repair consists of resetting new fence posts (either 4×4 posts or 6×6), and reinstalling the existing fence panels to keep the “weathered” look of your fence the same, but with stronger supporting posts every 7 or so feet. In most cases, we only need to “rebuild” one panel using the weathered fence boards, and new bracing 2×4 boards across.

When it comes to pricing with fence repair, our prices reflect the experience, knowledge, and tools that we have, and the specific location of the fence posts that need to be replaced. Often, only one post breaks, usually at the base where age and soil have rotted it out. When this happens, the new post generally goes in the exact same place, meaning that the existing cement “slug” needs to be pulled from the ground before a new augered hole is dug down four feet deep (deeper for 6×6 posts), and the new post is set in concrete, straight and true.

Our posts are always set the proper level in the ground, well below the frost line, and we use pressure treated lumber, or cedar posts, whatever your preference is.
